You know I should really call this blog The Yin Yang Of My Life or something to that effect. So yesterday I was walking around with this cloud of doom hanging over me all today, and then today. The opposite. Started off with a request for a larger sized print, and then a phone call from my rep with a project that I'm so excited about, but can't share. But I'm just dieing to - I hate keeping good secrets!
Anyhow, this wonderfully awful photo is a result of me taking out the Polaroid camera that's been in the closet for a long time. I finally decided to throw caution to the wind and use the last 3 films that were in it (one of which I accidentally wasted - oops). I loved the results so much, but was sad thinking that may be the end of it.
But tomorrow is always another day, and in my life luck is sure to change. I went to town today to buy a birthday present and sitting right there behind the cashier was one last box of Polaroid film. So now I've got 20 more shots; and am going to be scouring all the stores to see if I can find more.
Which represents the good luck side of the equation? Yin or Yang? Whichever, I like that side better. Clearly.

Yin is the female, and I dare say dark, figure...
I wonder if the autumn garage sales would offer up vintage film? The more expired, the more abstract, dark, and yin.
